elections [General] — rustle @ 1:08 am

ron paul obama

it seems to be taking a long time for europeans to get excited about the american election campaign. which is odd. mainstream tv & radio mention it in headlines, obama beats clinton in iowa, romney fails to shine. it’s not a hot topic amongst anyone i know, outside of americans. what is interesting is how non-mainstream the early runners are. no one wants to elect a carter or a ford. particularly no one wants to elect a bush. everyone wants different. the obama thing is amazing (to me anyway), ron paul also. but in europe you get the sense that everyone is just holding their breath.
