tonight i went out for cocktails in freuds on shaftesbury avenue, dinner in mon plaisir (oldest french restaurant in london), monmouth street, followed by the tiger lillies at the soho theatre. thence to garlic & shots where we huddled in what felt like an air raid shelter, hiding from the thrash metal. it was good. the tiger lillies are most wondrous.
there is a buzz about london nowadays. everyone is talking about how it has “overtaken” new york. whatever that means, london is pretty cool right now, the sun is shining and things are good.
